The WOLF [Winter Operational Light Fighting Vehicle] was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1987. It included the driver, Ice Viper. The Cobra WOLF was also sold in 1988 and was discontinued domestically in 1989.

Around 1991, the WOLF was available via mail-order through Hasbro Direct. This version of the WOLF features black ski-pedoes, a black engine panel, and a black missile rack.

Easily Broken/Lost Pieces

The gun is easily lost along with the side skis. The tabs for the canopies are prone to breakage, handle with care.


The retail WOLF has white ski-pedoes, a white engine panel, and a white missile rack.
