In the early 1980s, the European toy company Palitoy released a line of 3 3/4" military toys called Action Force. While most of the line was entirely original and similar to Kenner's Star Wars toys in articulation, early G.I.Joe figures and vehicles were incorporated into the Action Force line.
Pictured above is Ripcord released as part of the Action Force toyline. Palitoy released some G.I.Joe figures on the distinctive blue, red, and yellow Action Force cardbacks. Eventually by the late 80s, Palitoy was purchased by Hasbro, the toy line became renamed "G.I.Joe: The Action Force", and then finally just called "G.I.Joe".
This particular carded Ripcord was released in the United Kingdom.
The back of the card features a mail-in offer for Grunt.
