The Estrela toy company did not just release the U.S. versions of G.I.Joe toys. As a result, there are many exclusive figures and toys that were only available in Brazil.
In 1986, as part of their Comandos em Ação toyline, they produced the Torpedo. The Torpedo was created using a mold from the Kenner SSP toyline from the early 1970s. The Kenner SSP cars were zip-cars, where a piece of plastic was yanked out of the car causing the car to move quickly over flat surfaces. The Kenner SSP cars were brightly colored.
