In the mid 1980s, the Brazilian toy company Estrela acquired the molds to the straight-arm G.I.Joe action figures. They produced their own versions of the original straight-arm G.I.Joe figures for their Commandos Em Acao toyline.
Pictured above are the Estrela versions of Rock n Roll, Short Fuse, Snake Eyes, and Zap. The figures are similar in quality to the U.S. versions. However, note that the Brazilian figures are usually darker in color.
The easiest way to identify the Brazilian versions of these figures is the Estrela marking on the back of the figure. Each of these figures has Estrela molded boldly on their back.
