Cobra Vipers (version 25) was released as part of the 2009 International G.I.Joe Convention (Kansas City, MO) exclusive Crimson Strike Team box set from the Official G.I. Joe Collectors' Club. Twelve of these figures were included in the set along with Baroness (v15), Crimson Twin (v1a), and Crimson Twin (v1b). The boxed set also included a comic and certificate of authenticity.

Cobra Vipers (version 25) was created using the torso, waist, and upper arms of Viper (v16) (2008), the head and lower arms of Viper (v20) (2009), the upper legs of Snow Job (v3) (2008), and the lower legs and feet of Barbecue (v4) (2008).
