Action Force

Published by Satellitforlaget in Sundbyberg, Sweden which is near Stockholm. Each issue contains 50 pages except for the Transformers crossover which has 96 pages. Issued monthly beginning in July 1988 (1/1988) and ending in July 1990 (7/1990) after only 25 regular issues. The announcement to end the series was printed in the final issue (7/1990) with no prior warning. The Transformers crossover was issued as part of the Transformers series and is numbered 9.5 in 1988.

The "very a strange numbering" is simply issue # and year. Example: The first issue that came out in 1988 was called "Nr. 1 - 1988", and the 6th was called "Nr. 6 - 1988". Then with the start of a new year the numbering system restarted back at one. This same numbering system was used for Norway's version of Action Force.

In 1993, the Marvel issue #133 was released for advertisement purposes in connection with GI Joe toys released that year in Sweden. It ws published by Marvel Comics. The comic was priced at a reduced rate then the initial series, was unnumbered and contained only 18 pages. A similar issue was released in Norway as well as Finland at the same time. (Norway Special).
