Lady Jaye has Clockspring and the Night Creeper Bet out of the cell leaving Tomax inside, he is talking through an ear piece on an outside channel to Firefly, as he is pinned in a cell. The lights go out and the cells open, Lady Jaye begins firing at Tomax as the Night Creeper tackles her. Tomax grabs Clockspring and the Night Creeper and Lady Jaye fall into the cell and are locked in by Tomax with Clockspring. He then taunts Clockspring.
Upstairs, Firefly has just re-patched the lighting, when a Joe security guard approaches behind him, but Night Adder comes up behind him and breaks the security guards neck. They both proceed into the Joes headquarters using the unconscious retinal scan and hand print of Flint who is thrown over Night Adder’s shoulder. They drop him on the ground outside the elevator as it heads up.
In the cell, Lady Jaye reaches a tablet and gives it to Clockspring, he then begins to realize the damage he has caused by giving Tomax access to the headquarters systems and by proxy Firefly. He tells Lady Jaye that the building is about to explode.
Billy and Ronin, sitting in Ronin’s dojo room, had been talking when the lights went out. Now that they are back on Ronin is geared up and Billy still on crutches leaves the room where they run into Night Adder, who has a machine gun. He has come for Billy. But Ronin is quicker than him kicking him and the gun, she turns jumping out the window dragging Billy with him. She uses a hook and rope to stop their fall. Night Adder moves to the window to finish them off, when Flint tackles the much bigger man. They both stand up ready to fight hand to hand.
Firewall reacting to the lights turning back on and hearing multiple gun shots calls for a lockdown just as Tomax enters her office. Tomax taunts her because he knows her death will hurt Chameleon the most. They both fire their pistols. Tomax’s left cheek is grazed by the bullet, his response as he feels the wound and the blood “This is ironic.” (In reference to his new facial scan that matches his deceased brother Xamot facial scar.) Firewall lays on the ground with two bullet holes in her chest, dead.
Flint and Night Adder are fist fighting and Flint is losing. But giving it his best, he throws one of Ronin’s star into him, but it doesn’t even slow him down. Night Adder rushes at him but Flint fakes an attack and back tracks grabbing Night Adder, spins him and pushes him out the broken window, falling to his death. Ronin and Billy are still hanging outside the window. As they climb back in Night Adder’s service dog that was part of his blind act has become Flint’s new friend.
Flint gives Ronin the order to get Billy out of the hotel and to safety, he is going to deal with Tomax personally.
Tomax has tracked down Chameleon in her room.
