New Joe Mongoose is sitting at a table. He was born in Dearborn and raised in Brooklyn, he speaks English, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, and Pashto.

In the High Sierras two rubes in wife beaters and a NRA cap driving four wheelers tearing up the forest stumble upon Snake Eyes’ cabin. Upset that anyone would spoil nature by building a cabin up there, they break in and trash the place like a couple of dreadnoks would. One of them is about to spray paint the place and the other carves “Trump” into the outside wall. Timber appears behind them growling and snarling.

In Darklonia, Bombstrike and her team of Ambush, Big Ben and new Joe Sightline are watching the Revanche factory from a bell tower. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, Bombstrike decides to go inside the fence. Big Ben, Sightline and Ambush will disguise themselves as a potential investor and a tech crew.

In Springfield, the Community center is being rebuilt. (See Issues #240- 242) Cobra Commander, The Baroness and Destro are discussing the apparent desertion of Zartan. The Baroness tells the Commander to not take Zartan lightly as he has ties to the Arashikage clan. Destro makes note of Dr. Venom’s return and that the Commander should not underestimate him. The Commander says he knows how to handle Dr. Venom, who is for lack of a better term, dead, a spirit wanting revenge. Destro reminds the Commander that he too may be on that list. The Commander says that the people to watch are the ones constantly plotting to attain more wealth and power.

The three arrive at Dr. Venom’s lab where he angrily states he is repairing the damage that Dr. Mindbender did to his machine, the Brain Wave Scanner. The Commander upset, tells him he wants him to develop new weapons. He tells of his plans to dump the essence of Snake Eyes into a Revanche robot body. The Baroness comments it is Frankensteinian, and Destro remarks about what the monster did to Frankenstein.

In New Jersey two Cobra transport helicopters shoot a gas station that physically is fifty yards away from its GPS location. They land and offload several BATS, Night vipers, and Night Creepers. They find that the station is just a hologram hiding many 55 gallon drums with detonators. The chopper pilots warn them but it is too late, the explosives go off. Then Zartan and the Thunder Machine destroy the two helicopters.

In Tokyo, Dawn is taken to the amusement park that Jinx and Pale Peony were led to. (See Issue #192) Dawn is bored with the lame ride. Granny takes her backstage to a locker room, she gives her a uniform created by Ellen Bogen. The uniform is reminiscent of Snake Eyes’ second uniform but different. The uniform is sleeveless with gauntlet style gloves, chest armor emblazoned with the Arashikage symbol in the center, military pants, leather belt, shin guards, knee pads, red accents and belt buckle, red visor, open faced mask. a high turned up collar also with the Arashikage symbol embroidered on the side. A pistol in a hip holster on her right hip and a sword, the Morning Light, are her weapons. Granny states it is Osoroshii (terrifying, fierce, formidable) not Kawaii (cute). They enter a room with an M.C. Escher style staircase. Confusing to some but not an Arashikage. The stairs lead to a stage where a performer throws a shuriken at Dawn. She catches it in midair.
