Postbox: The Pit with one question

Dr. Venom knows one of the Baroness’s secrets.

(Inside Cover blurb)
Sitrep:
In Springfield, Granny Demon, Storm Shadow, Zartan, the New Snake-Eyes, the Collins family, and Senator Ling-Torres are able to escape the clutches of Cobra Commander and his marauding forces with the help of double-dealing Dreadnoks and a possessed Dawn Moreno, who carries the dark memories — and deadly skills — of the original Snake-Eyes inside her brain.

Meanwhile, Dr. Venom has similarly possessed Dr. Mindbender’s body, making his own sneaky exit from the besieged community center and revealing himself to a shocked Cobra Commander.

Full Details

The Dreadnoks take everyone to the Springfield Gas and Auto repair shop. Ripper, Torch and Buzzer take the Collins family out of Springfield on their bikes.

Zartan says he will arrange for transportation for Senator Torres and for her to be discreet about what happened in Springfield.

Demon Granny, Throwdown aka Sean Collins, Storm Shadow and Dawn Moreno [who has Snake Eyes memories in her head] will all make their own escape.

Dr. Venom is faced with doubt that he is alive again by Cobra Commander, Destro and the Baroness. Until he tells the Baroness a secret only Dr. Venom would know, and she gasps. When Destro discovers the exterminator van is partially a hologram, Dr. Venom is quick to point out this seems like Zartan’s handiwork.

In Trucial Abysmia the U.S. Embassy is attacked.
The Joes are flying high above in a C-130 piloted by Wild Bill and Ace are given the clear sign to HALO in at 20,000 angels .
State Department Agents Lake and Emerson, who guard the Ambassador, are on the roof of a compound away from the Embassy where the Ambassador was having a meeting when the fighting broke out. They send out a signal strobe.
The Joes, Airborne, Long Shot and Rock N Roll, land on the roof next to them. Back up has arrived
Leatherneck gets caught in the wind and misses the drop point. He lands 100 yards down the street.
Leatherneck bounces off a van roof and heads to the signal that Airborne uses to lead him to the embassy. The damage to the van alerts the locals who call for help.

Mafood, the owner of compound, lets Leatherneck into the compound.
He introduces him to Ishmael his bodyguard who owes him a blood debt.
Everyone else guarding the embassy has deserted.
Ambassador McCory was a Recon Marine. He is armed.
Airborne starts giving orders to prepare the compound for an attack. As they all wait for a Sea King helicopter to rescue them.
Local hostiles block the street with pick up trucks and blow up the gate.
Long Shot with his sniper rifle, Leatherneck and Rock 'n' Roll along with the others defend the embassy.
The locals continue their assault as the Sea King arrives. The Sea King is shot down crashing in the nearby street.
Airborne says it is time for plan B, which they have to figure out right now.
