Full Details

Over Trans Carpathia, a Tomahawk piloted by Lift Ticket and Wild Bill flies Sneak Peek, Spirit, Roadblock, Flint and Lady Jaye to meet with the resistance leader Werewolf One. They fly low over water into Darklonia to avoid radar but are attacked by Cobra Moray Hydrofoils.

In Springfield, The Baroness leads a HISS tank column to assault the home of former Fred, Wade Collins. Wade and his wife are captured alive and Dr. Mindbender orders them be taken to the Brainwave Scanner. Wade’s neighbors watch gloating as the assault takes place. Heather, Wade’s daughter, pulls a gun on the them, ties up her neighbors and goes after their safe room.

In a dream sequence, Obake Obaasan aka Granny Demon and Snake Eyes attend the Obon festival. They begin the long walk back home and are attacked by the Tenchu Raiden Clan, rival clan of the Arashikage. The Clan attacks Granny for teaching outsiders the secret Arashikage techniques. During the fight Granny is cut by one of the clan on her tattoo arm. Snake Eyes kills the five attackers and then kills the rest who come out of the woods. He single handedly, brutally kills them all.

Dawn Moreno screams in her sleep and awakens from this dream. She is on a bus to Springfield. She is 4 miles away.

In Darklonia, The Morays pursue the Tomahawk. Roadblock shoots one of the Morays putting it out of commission. The second Moray locks missiles on the Tomahawk. A Javelin missile is fired from the shore destroying the Moray. The Tomahawk lands and the Joes head over to meet the resistance leaders. Sneak Peek assumes that the man who greets them is Werewolf One. He is actually just Grosz the Scrounger. Werewolf One identifies herself. She is Katya, who Sneak Peek worked with in the past. Now she is the leader of the resistance.

On the other side of Springfield from Dawn's bus, Zartan, Storm Shadow and Throwdown (the New Snake Eyes) are driving in a van. They are 4 miles away from Springfield. Their mission is to find Dawn. Zartan says he never sensed the darkness in Snake Eyes that he sensed in Dawn. Storm Shadow says he had felt that darkness before. The night of the Obon festival when Granny and Snake Eyes returned Storm Shadow was angered and he sought revenge against the rival clan. Granny told him there were none left to exact revenge upon. This scared Snake Eyes as well and from then on he fought to suppress that dark side of himself. Now that darkness has been unleashed in Dawn by Zartan.

In Springfield, Dr. Mindbender voices his opposition to the meeting called by Cobra Commander. Cobra Commander says now is the time for him to strike. Zartan is off looking for Dawn and the Baroness is looking for Heather. Destro arrives and takes a seat. His two Iron Grenadier guards are gunned down by BATs. Clamps in the armrest of the chair trap Destro. Cobra Commander orders the BATs to shoot him but it is too late. Destro’s hands separate from his wrists and fly towards the Commander’s neck on long metallic tendons. Hidden compartments in his arms reveal wrist rockets and Destro fires on the BATs blowing them up. Destro demands to be released from the chair and Cobra Commander pushes a button on a remote. The hand clamps choking Cobra Commander let go and Destro says "I think the meeting is over. Don't you. We must do this again, sometime" Destro’s hands coil back into his arms and he walks out.
