Duke and Roadblock battle Anouk in the streets of Benzheen. Wade Collins returns to Springfield in the hopes of getting payback for Sean. Zartan feels that Dawn Moreno is a threat. As he explains this to Cobra Commander and the Cobra hierarchy, Dawn is taken in by Obake Obaasan and told she will train with Tommy, Ellen, and herself and become a member of the Arashikage. Bombstrike plots to escape Olliestan.

Full Details

In Benzheen, Duke and Roadblock run into General Thurston Crowther and his damage control team. General Crowther and his men let Faoud, Duke, Claire, and Roadblock leave when Roadblock shows they have superior firepower in his machine gun. The armored car the Joes drive is followed by Anouk. Anouk attempts to shoot Claire during the car chase but Faoud jumps in the way and is shot dead. Anouk tosses a grenade into the car.

With several civilians about, Roadblock slams into the door of the armored car, the grenade in his hand. Roadblock has no choice but to cover the grenade with the car door and lay on top of the door in the middle of the street. The grenade explodes. The only injury to Roadblock is a persistent ringing of the ears.

In New York City, Dawn uncovers a scar on Obake Obaasan’s Arashikage tattoo when she mentions the night of fire and steel.

In Olliestan, Bombstrike sells the Cobra Stinger. She gives half of the money to Leila for helping her. And says "I need the other half to get myself across the border to Prupistan, where I can find a boat down the Bozigian river into Rudatistan." {Editor's Note: Rod Rudat (Rudatistan, Bob Prupis (Prupistan) and Kirk Bozigian (Bozigian River) are all real life key figures in the making of the GI Joe toy line} Leila uses some her money to buy a motorcycle from Omar.

In Springfield, The Cobra leaders, Cobra Commander, Zartan, Zarana, Destro, Baroness and Dr. Mindbender, meet at the Springfield Community center where Zartan tells them that Dawn Moreno will be an even bigger threat if she gets Arashikage guidance.

Wade Collins returns to Springfield disguised as a Fred. Wade Collins as Fred 96, his wife and daughter Heather meet their new neighbors Fred 57, his wife Gina and daughter Saffron. Heather Collins does a sweap of the house for listen devices and Fred starts to plan his payback for the death of his son, Sean Collins. {Sean Collins is currently alive but disgusied as the current version of Snake Eyes}

Back In New York City, Dawn is fitted by Ellen Bogen for a new set of battle togs, she also learns that she will study under Ellen, Tommy Arashikage (aka Storm Shadow) and Obake, in addition to getting a GED. Dawn gives a formal showing of the Morning Light sword to Ellen and Obake.

Bombstrike, leaving Olliestan on the motorbike with Leila driving, stops to buy ammunition for her pistol. She is noticed by one of Black Major’s informers who calls the Red Shadows.
