In Clinton, the area formerly known as Hell’s Kitchen, Dawn Moreno is approached by Eddie O’Leary who says he will protect her in this dangerous area of town. Storm Shadow tells him that Dawn has already lifted his knife, wallet, and his watch. She also cuts his belt. Dawn leaps onto a fire escape.
Deep under the Olliestan desert Cassandra Knox is talking to the Black Major when he is pelted in the head with a chicken bone See Issue 231. Bombstrike tells them to drop their weapons but Dr. Biggles-Jones is behind her. Biggles-Jones shoots Bombstrike in the head. Black Major checks Bombstrike and sees her head has both an entrance and exit wound. He orders two Red Shadow troops to take her body and dump it in the desert.
In Benzheen, a cabbie on a cell phone watches the building Claire went into. The other end of the phone says she is being tracked by GPS. The drone has locked on. The damage assessment team is ready to move in.The drone fires two missiles into the building.
On the Jersey shore, Merrilee and Caryle are looting the abandoned Broca Beach Casino. The Earth shakes and a water spout bursts through the floor sending B.A.T. parts along with Deep Six and Cutter into the room. Shipwreck and Torpedo bring up the WHALE and pick up Deep Six and Cutter.
In Olliestan, Black Major asks Dr. Biggles-Jones for her pistol. He comes to the conclusion that her pistol was not strong enough to kill Bombstrike and tells Dr. Biggles-Jones to get her body back. The Red Shadows are driving away from Bombstrike in a stinger. Fatima and another local scavenger spy her body as the Red Shadows leave. They see she has a head wound, boots, and a pistol. The Red Shadows get a message to go back. Bombstrike wakes up and asks for the scavengers to help her. She takes the pistol back from Fatima and shoots the Red Shadows in the Stinger. Bombstrike explains how she survived being shot in the head to Fatima as they drive away in the Stinger. The ammunition had a weak load, the shot was at an angle and the bullet could not penetrate her skull. The bullet skidded around the bone and popped out the back of her head.
In New York City, Dawn is jumping over rooftops. She pauses on a rooftop near a water tower. She talks to herself asking who the guy in the white suit was. Storm Shadow answers her and says he needs to talk to her about the sword. It is his, and it was put in the museum for safe keeping.
