Full Details

Somewhere in the continental United States Cobra Commander is bowling, Dr. Mindbender is keeping score. He watches the videos of the destruction of the Silent Castle and the Carob Tree Office Building.

In the ruins of the Silent Castle, Destro is crouched in a doorway holding up the structure with his moly steel gauntlets. The Iron Grenadiers slip past him to escape being buried alive.

Cobra Commander tells Dr. Mindbender that the plans for Wendy Ling Torres are long term and that for now he is focusing on the celebration. He watches the explosion at the former Cobra HQ again.

At the Carob Tree Office Building, Crystal Ball has a feeling of intense burning. Perhaps a prophetic vision. The Dreadnoks are watching cartoons. Buzzer flips the channel to see the video of the Silent Castle. Zartan calls Destro but there is no answer. The channel is changed again and they all watch as the building they are in explodes in front of them. They all rush outside but everything is fine.

A vehicle speeds towards them from the distance. Zartan is about to give the order to fire when the riders on the Cobra Ferret, the Crimson Twins, Tomax and Xamot, stop. Tomax and Xamot feel betrayed due to the events of the Cobra World Order and the manner and loss of a valuable asset when the Crimson Guards were used the way they were.

Tomax and Xamot faked the footage of the Office Building blowing up in the hopes that they could secretly ally themselves with the pariah Cobra members to go after Cobra Commander.

Claire and Duke are in the Statue of Liberty. They discuss the mission involving Duke and Roadblock in Trucial Abysmia several years ago. Roadblock and Duke were not supposed to be on the mission but figured out a way to go along. Maddox was the team leader of the group. They met up with a top secret DOD team with a hooded samurai. The two teams rescue Claire and other hostages from inside a building and head to the roof. Enemy reinforcements arrive in trucks and one of the extraction stealth choppers is destroyed. The hostages board the other helicopter piloted by Wild Bill and it leaves. Duke and the team members are left behind.

Claire, the mysterious swordsman, and one other from the DOD team stay behind when they learn the other team has no extraction. They commandeer one of the trucks and head to rescue Duke, Roadblock, Maddox and Thumper. Roadblock is shot and falls from his position on the roof. Claire provides medical aid. Thumper is about to board the truck when he too is shot. Claire jumps out of the truck and goes after Thumper. When the gunner (possibly Storm Shadow) on the truck is shot as well; Maddox guns the truck to get out of there. Claire and Thumper are left behind in the dust. When the dust clears Duke sees a group of the enemy beating Thumper and Claire with their rifles. Roadblock holds him back so he cannot jump off the truck. Maddox refuses to go back to rescue them it would be suicide.

Thumper dies a week later and Claire was presumed dead. It took two years to find out she was still alive. Inside the viewing deck of the Statue of Liberty, Claire and Duke kiss.

Destro insists he is the last remaining survivor inside the castle, The Baroness, now leave him behind and escape. He struggles to hold up the doorway. The Baroness, ever the thinker, starts to gather up the Revanche android parts scattered about. The parts are also made of moly steel and she constructs something to brace the doorway so Destro can escape also.

The pair emerge from the dust and smoke. The Baroness calls for the medics. Not just any medics, but the ones skilled with nanotechnology.

Cobra Commander finishes his last frame of bowling down pins that look like his enemies. He boards a HISS tank and leads the parade celebrating what will be the Cobra Nation. His arms are raised high in victory.
