Full Details

In Ft. Wadsworth’s Motor Pool, Sean Collins has his new orders, he is to report to a facility in Texas. He is disappointed that he was not selected for the GIJOE team.

Snake Eyes gives him his Styles Fairburn Commando Dagger. Clutch comments that Snake Eyes has never given him anything. Then Scarlett and Cover Girl give him a kiss on the cheek. Clutch says he has never gotten that either. Clutch drives Sean to his transport flight.

On the way they pass the house of Crimson Guard Darren 247 Ferguson who is out getting the morning paper.

Inside the house we learn that Darren only became a Siegie because his wife was so ill, he tells his son this and Matt say he understands. Dr. Mindbender tells Darren that he does not care that there is possibly a new GIJOE member in Wadsworth. He warns him he is borderline insubordinate and that he will be expected to follow his part of the master plan when the time comes.

In the PIT command center, the Joes debate over whether or not they should bring Serpentor back and use him to control the weapon of the eye. Hawk arrives and tells the Joes it is up to them to develop a worst case scenario option, and that they must be discreet.

In Seattle, Fred 172 shoots his wife and daughter. His family switched his bullets for blanks and congratulate him on his passing a loyalty test. They pretended to want to desert, and by shooting them he passed the test.

In San Francisco Budo is training Raymond as the Joes arrive. They come just in time to see Raymond tap Budo. Raymond will be sent to Japan for his final training.

At the Wendy Ling campaign office, Fred 191 is sent outside to meet his friends in a van. He is abducted by Copperhead, Scrap Iron, and Firefly. They force him to blow up the tri-county armory.

In Japan, Storm Shadow brings the ashes of Pale Peony to Demon Granny, or as he calls her, Auntie Obake. The dojo is attacked by Blue Ninjas. Storm Shadow and Granny defeat them. Storm Shadow offers to stay and help with the Blue Ninja problem as they place Peony’s ashes with the rest of the memorial shrine.

In an undisclosed location a figure in a trench coat storms into Cobra Commander’s office. It is BN-002 and it is concerned about the recent activities in Dublin and Japan. Dr. Mindbender tells it there is a failsafe in the 921 program the Joes don’t know about. Cobra Commander says he will send Night Vipers to Japan. BN-002 is dubious.

In the secret level of the Pit Jane and Joe are moving the corpse of Serpentor to a regeneration tank. They are reluctant but there is no choice. The tank will repair Serpentor’s eye and brain that were damaged when Zartan shot him with an arrow during the Cobra Civil War. (insert issue link)

A transport piloted by Wild Bill carrying Sean Collins lands at a desert location. A confused Sean exits the plane. Duke, Hawk and the Joes meet Sean and make it official. Sean is now a member of the Joe team. The other assignment to a training facility was a ruse, a false paper trail. Duke orders Roadblock to give Sean his new codename. Roadblock says Sean looks like a fight waiting to happen and calls him Throwdown.
