Full Details

In Sacramento, Cobra Commander is in his usual disguise. He is wheeling the injured Zarana (issue 202) through the California State Railroad Museum. He tells her if she attempts to escape or scream he will push the plunger on a toxin hooked to her IV that will paralyze her.

They are escorted by two Crimson Guards. Fred 191 and Fred 172 who join them and apologizes for being late.

The four of them enter a Pullman car. Inside the car sits Zartan with a briefcase in front of him. Zartan opens the case. Inside the case is Destro’s mask. Proof that he is dead. Zartan orders Cobra Commander to release Zarana.

Fred 191 shoots Zartan in the chest. Cobra Commander orders Fred 172 to shoot Zarana. Instead Fred 172 shoots Fred 191. He is really Zartan in disguise. Destro, who was disguised as Zartan gets up and asks for his mask back. Destro pulls out his phone and shows the commander a live feed of his washroom. The toilet explodes. Destro leaves the car and warns Cobra Commander that he should be thankful he is not a vengeful man. He reminds him that he needs Cobra as a client and that alone spared his life. Bad for business.

Zartan (the real one) and Zarana want revenge on the Commander for what he has done to their family. They leave the train car but as they do Road Pig enters.

The Joes in the Pit have been watching everyone enter and leave the train car via the park’s closed circuit camera system.

Duke, Lady Jaye, Chuckles and Mainframe watch as Road Pig leaves the car and wipes something off his cement block mace. A family is about to enter the Pullman and Duke orders Mainframe to tap the PA system and say the exhibit is closed. Then Duke orders Mainframe to call DR. Mindbender anonymously and tell him where Cobra Commander can be found.

In Olliestan, Torpedo. Long Range, Muskrat and Alpine are watching a village below them. There are insurgents holding hostages there. Torpedo and Muskrat move in, Alpine and Long Range stay behind. A dog approaches them but Torpedo is prepared with doggie treats to distract the animal.

Muskrat and Torpedo silently attack the insurgents and find the hostage. When they drag one of the insurgents body into the house they are spotted. The man on the roof fires his weapon alerting the village. Long Range shoots the man on the roof but it is too late. The alarm has been sounded.

The hostage reveals herself. It is DR. Burkhart. The insurgents shoot the dog. Long Range shoots them in turn. Scarlett and Stalker, who are in the original PIT, watch footage of the events provided live by a drone.

In Seattle, A man who looks like all the other Fred series Crimson Guards enters an apartment building. He goes to the second floor and pulls out a Cobra keychain. he opens the door. Inside are Chloe and Zoe once they realize the man standing before them is not the Fred from their family they begin to mourn.

In San Francisco, a young man is walking at night. He passes by a building with the words Arashikage Martial Arts on the side. He rushes inside and takes the freight elevator. He is hoping to find his sensei, the Blind Master. Instead he finds Budo, cleaning the floor. Raymond explains that he is Tyrone’s (issue 91-96) brother and that he too studied with the Blind Master. Raymond asks to study with Budo, Budo says he will consider the request. In the meantime, Raymond can scrub the floor.
