Full Details

M. Bison greets the contestants who have made it to the eighth round finals. Destro announces that M.A.R.S. is sponsoring the tournament and takes his place on the dais next to M.Bison.

The first match is Crimson Viper vs. Snake Eyes. Crimson underestimates the ninja’s skills and when he pulls out a pair of knives she loses.

The Baroness, who had talked to Crimson Viper before the match about paying her to beat Snake Eyes, protests the use of knives. M. Bison says that he allowed the knives just as he allowed the use of Crimson’s S.I.N. battle suit.

The Baroness removes her glasses and it is now her match. She will take on Rufus. The Baroness knocks him down but gloats and he uses the opportunity to turn the tide. He berates her and wears her down until he finishes her with a Big Bang Typhoon.

The fallen Baroness learns from Destro what powers the weapon and since she is no longer in the tournament, he invites her to join him and M. Bison on the dais.

Gung Ho prepares Roadblock for his tangle with Hakan, who uses oils to fight. During the match Roadblock pulls out his .50 caliber Ma Deuce. The effort fails however when Hakan grasps Roadblock in a bear hug and then squeezes him out of his grip into a wall knocking him out. Roadblock tastes the oil Hakan used and agrees it tastes amazing. He wants to obtain some for cooking.

Next up is the match between Jinx and Ryu. Ryu has been training Jinx. He even taught her the Shoryuken. During the match Ryu almost slips into the Satsui no Hado or Killing Intent but controls himself. This is the reason they say they chose Jinx, they cannot risk Ryu’s weakness manifesting. Jinx wins her match with Ryu. Ryu says he will be watching Jinx closely.

Destro asks M. Bison if the weapon is ready. Bison replies that it is working perfectly and that by the time he steps into the ring it will be ready.
