GI Joe French Heritage Starting 1983 EH (Editions Heritage) began publishing GI Joe in French for its French reading Quebec readers. The issues were reprints of the regular US Marvel series. At issue #11 they began publishing them as double issues until at #17 they started back as single issues. Because each issue was generally 35 pages instead of the standard US length of 22 pages there was an additional story from some other Marvel character, for most of the series Daredevil was the supplemental story. It was published every other month.

At issue #12 (actually Marvel #13/14) the series switched from EH to Marvel publishing. At issue #17 it became a monthly release.

For more then half of the comics the back cover was a French version of Steeler on his Mobat. This was actually the back cover of the original #1 issue. See it here.
