Filecard Information

File Name: Hauser, Conrad S.
SN: 234-55-GI89
Grade: E-8 (Master Sergeant)
Birthplace: St. Louis, Missouri
Primary Specialty: Ranger
Secondary Specialty: Military Intelligence (G-2)
Motto: "We don't know where COBRA forces will strike next, but we're prepared for anything. The only predictable thing about COBRA is their unpredictability."

DUKE is a natural leader, and nobody knows that more than the soldiers he commands. Trained as an Airborne Infantryman, DUKE served in Southeast Asia with the Army's Special Forces Unit, where he earned numerous medals for his selfless heroism. He passed up an officer's commission when he was given the opportunity to handpick the best of the best to form the core of the GI JOE team. He believes in leading by example, which is why he's always alongside his troops in the thick of battle. There are three things that make DUKE see red: ignorance, disorder, and deliberate evil.

The ARMADILLO ASSAULT VEHICLE is one heavy-duty piece of hardware, made even more useful by its SPY TROOPS mode. Converting into two separate attack vehicles, the GI JOE team now is more maneuverable than ever before.

No variations of Duke (v1) are known to exist.

Body Construction

The chest, crotch, and thighs were later used to make Alpine (v2) in 2004. Note that the forearms and the calves sport connection pegs for blocks.
