The First Real American Hero Is Back!

Pictured above is a two-page magazine advertisment for the 1994 Joe Colton mail-in offer.  Both the 3 ¾" G.I. Joe figure and 12" G.I. Joe figure are advertised, along with a mail-in form.  The ad also features the 30th Salute logo.

Note that the illustration was drawn by Joe Kubert.  Joe Kubert drew the 1960s DC Showcase issues where G.I. Joe first appeared in comic book form, and would go on to provide all the artwork for the 1995 Sgt. Savage toy line.

From the collection of: Phillip Donnelly
