Korean Bootlegs
At the height of its popularity, G.I.Joe action figures were often imitated by foreign toy companies, trying to cash in on G.I.Joe's popularity. The results were... interesting, to say the least.
Pictured above is one of the figures from "IAMAN," a Korean made toy line. Included is even a free "Micro Figure" also likely taken from a G.I.Joe mold although unpainted.
Two things make this bootleg an interesting piece. Firstly, the figure is a complete remake of the 1989 Downtown. And The Micro Figure, by it's pose, appears to be a green version of the Cobra Officer
Secondly, the cardback used appears to be an authentic Hasbro card. Did the bootlegger get his hands on these cards somehow?
