M. BISON (v1)
Series: Twelve (1993)
M. Bison was released carded in the twelfth series (1993) as part of Capcom's Street Fighter 2 subset. The Street Fighter 2 figures were numbered 1 through 12 - M. Bison was number 6.
He was discontinued domestically in 1994.
M. Bison came with a black rifle, a black submachine gun, a black pistol, a green missile launcher (spring loaded, actually fired), two black missiles, an orange grappling hook, a black string, and a black figure stand.
Some versions of M. Bison came with silver shoulder pads [SEE VARIATIONS BELOW].
The grappling hook can be pulled apart into two component pieces.
Except for the grappling hook, string, and missile launcher, all of M. Bison's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree." The accessories were removed from the tree.
Some versions of M. Bison came with a set of silver shoulder pads. These pads were glued softly on the figure so that the pads could easily be pulled off. The pads were also found glued on some versions of M. Bison (v2).
The entire M. Bison mold was also used to create M. Bison (v2) (1993).
Versions of M. Bison
Several Street Fighter Movie versions of M. Bison were released in 1994, but the Street Fighter Movie figures are not considered G.I.Joe figures.
