Edmond Honda was released carded in the twelfth series (1993) as part of Capcom's Street Fighter 2 subset. The Street Fighter 2 figures were numbered 1 through 12 - Edmond Honda was number 7.
He was discontinued domestically in 1994.

Accessories
Edmond Honda came with a blue mawashi, two dark blue swords, a dark blue axe, a dark blue sickle, a dark blue wide knife, two dark blue dueling knives, and a dark blue figure stand.
Except for the mawashi, all of Edmond Honda's accessories came attached to one plastic "tree." The accessories were removed from the tree.

Body Construction
Edmond Honda's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures and no parts were ever re-used.
The body was designed with a martial arts action - "Hundred Hand Slap." Edmond Honda's legs could be squeezed together, causing the figure's head to come down in a head-butt action.
Versions of Edmond Honda
This was the only version of Edmond Honda ever released.
A Street Fighter Movie version of Edmond Honda was released in 1994, but the Street Fighter Movie figures are not considered G.I.Joe figures.
