CESSPOOL (v1)
C.E.O.- CHIEF ENVIRONMENTAL OPERATIVE

Series: Ten (1991)
Cesspool was released carded as part of the tenth series (1991) as part of the Eco-Warriors subset. He was discontinued domestically in 1992.
Webmaster's Note:
It was common practice for Hasbro to name and/or sculpt G.I.Joe characters after real-life individuals. Cesspool was given the real name "Vincent D'Alleva" - the Hasbro executive that oversaw the G.I.Joe division at that time.
Accessories
Cesspool came with a gold and orange helmet (the breather piece is removable), a gold chainsaw, a blue rifle (that could fire water), a blue and orange backpack (that held the water), and an orange hose that attached the rifle and backpack.
Instructions how to use the water-firing weapon were printed on the cardback behind the action figure.

Variations
No variations of Cesspool (v1) are known to exist.
Body Construction
Cesspool's body is entirely original - no parts were taken from other figures.
Like all the Eco-Warriors figures, spots on Cesspool were covered with a special color-change plastic. When the figure was hit with water, the plastic changed colors to simulate "battle damage."
