Spirit (version 2) - also commonly known as Slaughter's Marauders Spirit - was released carded as part of the eighth series (1989). He was also sold in 1990 and was discontinued domestically in 1991.

Accessories
Spirit came with a black auto-arrow rifle, a black backpack, a black and brown belt, and a brown and white eagle, "Freedom."
Light green versions of the rifle and backpack, along with a dark green and red version of the belt, were first available with the Spirit.
Beware of a tan rifle or tan backpack. These are accessories that came with the G.I.Joe Battle Gear Accessory Packs, and are not the original accessories that came with Spirit.
