KNOCKDOWN (v1)
SKY-SWEEPER DRIVER/SKY-SWEEPER ANTI-AIRCRAFT DRIVER

Series: Six (1987)
Knockdown was first released carded invidually as part of the Battleforce 2000 subset of G.I.Joe at the very end of the sixth series (1987). In 1988 he was available carded in a special two-pack with Dodger and was discontinued the following year.
Even if they are not listed in the 1987 catalog, the Battleforce 2000 figures are considered part of the 1987 series since they made it to toy shelves in the 1987 calendar year. Be aware that some toy listings will list Knockdown as having been released in 1988.
Accessories
Knockdown came with a gold helmet and a silver "experimental ground-to-air pistol."

Variations
Knockdown came carded two different ways. In late 1987, he was available carded by himself. In 1988, Knockdown and Dodger were carded together in special two-packs.
Knockdown's gun was done with two different handles (pictured above). The first version has a thicker handle, the second version has a thin handle. Neither version is more difficult to find than the other.
No variations of the figure itself are known to exist.
Body Construction
Knockdown's body is completely original - all new body parts.
Knockdown's head was later repainted and used to create Super Trooper, and Rapid Fire.
The head sculpt was also modified to create Charbroil (1988). Charbroil's head has a larger nose, mouth, and hair.
