YoJoe ID: 118-HAF-1987-AVALANCH-01

Series: Six (1987)

Avalanche was first released carded invidually as part of the Battleforce 2000 subset of G.I.Joe at the very end of the sixth series (1987). In 1988 he was available carded in a special two-pack with Blaster and was discontinued the following year.

Even if they are not listed in the 1987 catalog, the Battleforce 2000 figures are considered part of the 1987 series since they made it to toy shelves in the 1987 calendar year. Be aware that some toy listings will list Avalanche as having been released in 1988.

Note that in the ninth series (1990) a vehicle named the Avalanche was released. This vehicle has nothing to do with the action figure or Battle Force 2000.
