Cover Girl was released as part of the second series (1983), packaged exclusively with the Wolverine Missile Tank.
Cover Girl and the Wolverine Missile Tank were also sold in 1984. Cover Girl was discontinued in 1985.

Cover Girl finds that she must work against her beauty to prove herself. She's compelled to learn and master decidedly unfeminine disciplines. Her self-assurance and stunning good looks reduce most men to stuttering fools.
Variations
Some versions of Cover Girl had eyes and eyebrows that were darker than her hair while others had eyes and eyebrows that matched her hair. The version with the darker eyebrows also had a lighter shirt, darker boots, and a darker belt.
Featured In
Cover Girl was featured in several of the various media of GI Joe through the years, including Trading Cards, Comic Books, Cartoons and Commercials.
Body Construction
Cover Girl's body construction is completely original.
Note that the figure's head only turns left and right - it does not allow the head to look up and down. The heads only turned left and right until the the swivel ball head that was introduced in 1985 (Series Four).
International Releases
Takara released Cover Girl with the Wolverine in 1986.
In Brazil, Cover Girl was released carded as Sparta. In Argentina, Cover Girl was repainted with teal highlights and released an Argentinian version of Sparta.
Versions of Cover Girl
In 2006, Cover Girl was renamed "Agent Courtney Krieger." So while there are multiple names, they are all based on the character "Cover Girl."
