Packaging Information

Filecard Information

File Name: Flagg III, James L.
SN: 212-9820-GU95
Grade: O-8
Birthplace: Alexandria, Virginia
Primary Specialty: Commanding General of G.I. JOE
Secondary Specialty: Chief Strategic Commander
Motto: "Struggle breeds greatness."

He's the son of the original G.I. JOE commanding general (after whom the U.S.S. Flagg aircraft carrier was named). GENERAL FLAGG is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, as were five preceding generations of his namesake. He shares DUKE's philosophy of personally leading his troops into a firefight, instead of sending out orders from behind the lines in some cozy commander's tent. When the call is given to charge, he's the one shouting it from the front.

His strategies on the battlefield have twice earned him the Medal of Valor and countless decorations as he carries on his family's proud military tradition. GENERAL FLAGG likes to be in the thick of it, and only needs two things: a personal weapon and the loyalty of the dedicated soldiers of the G.I. JOE team behind him. When not leading the troops, he is working tirelessly to keep governmental bureaucracy and corruption from interfering with the operations of the team.

No variations of General Flagg (v4) are known to exist.

Body Construction

General Flagg (version 3) was created using the head of Sgt. Airborne (v3) (2008), the torso and waist of Storm Shadow (v33), the arms of the upper arms of Shock Trooper (2011), the lower arms and hands of Lifeline (v7) (2011), and the legs of Zartan (v20) (2010).
