MOBILE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Series: Thirty-Three (2017)
Back-Stop (version 2) was released as part of the 2017 International G.I.Joe Convention (Lake Buena Vista, FL) as the exclusive parachute drop figure from the Official G.I. Joe Collectors' Club.
Birthplace: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Primary Specialty: Armored Vehicle Driver
Secondary Specialty: Mechanized Infantry
Motto: "I've had more broken bones, ripped tendons and severed arteries than anyone else. So, COBRA better get ready for me to break, rip, or sever something of theirs."
BACK-STOP injured so many opposing players in junior league hockey that his family had to move to the United States to escape angry parents. During his adolescent years in Detroit, he boxed in the Golden Gloves until he was barred from competition. He spent two terms as the undefeated wrestling champion of his high school simply because no one would get on the mat with him. After a short career in the demolition derby, he found his true calling by enlisting in the Canadian Army and was eventually recruited into the G.I. JOE team.
When the BF 2000 team needed to infiltrate a COBRA Laser Weapons base in Canada, they called in BACK-STOP to parachute into their location. More than just one of the toughest soldiers on either side of the 49th parallel, he possesses a natural ability to drive anything, and has intimate knowledge of the often frozen and treacherous terrain COBRA has infested.
Back-Stop was available bagged or carded.
