Night Fox (version 3) was released as part of the "Desert Duel" set for the 50th Anniversary line in 2015. The set also included Cobra Air Trooper (v3), Chuckles (v5), Elite Horseman, the F.O.E. Striker, and the Cobra Basilisk.
This set was initially sold at the Entertainment Earth booth during the 2015 San Diego Comic Con International before being available at select online retailers.
This set was then released as a Toys R Us exclusive in August 2015. However, the Toys R Us release did not include Cobra Air Trooper (v3) or Night Fox (v3).

Night Fox came with a cream-colored helmet, black night vision goggles that attached to the helmet, a cream-colored neckerchief, gray webgear, a brown backpack, a cream-colored grenade launcher, a black machine gun, a black tripod, a silver and gold ammo belt, and a black and gold display stand.
