Motto: "We specialize in hostile takeovers!"
M.A.R.S. ANNIHILATORS are DESTRO's elite airborne assault troops. They can be deployed by sea, air, and land using the mini-turbine heli-packs on their backs, descending upon their target like armored locusts. These troopers are recruited from the ranks of the IRON GRENADIERS, where those with an affinity for three dimensional thinking are selected. As part of their indoctrination into the Airborne Corps, they must serve an apprenticeship as hard-sell telephone solicitors, procuring sales for the M.A.R.S. (Military Armaments Research Systems) Corporation. Not only does this help to increase DESTRO's coffers, but it also reinforces their tenacity and ruthlessness!
M.A.R.S. ANNIHILATORS can perform an array of advanced aerial maneuvers, and often use cooperative behavior to swarm their enemies. Their heli-packs are designed to work in almost any weather conditions, are powerful enough to carry two men (or an equivalent weight in valuables), and leave no traceable heat signature. It is nonetheless dangerous work, requiring incredible dexterity and finesse. M.A.R.S. ANNIHILATORS don't get any medals for success, more importantly they get shares of stock in M.A.R.S. and active participation in a profit sharing plan.
No variations of M.A.R.S. Annihilators (v3) are known to exist.
Annihilators (version 2) was created using the head of Lamprey (v5) (2009), the torso and waist of Snake Eyes (v40) (2009), the upper arms and hands of Snow Job (v3) (2008), the upper legs of Snake Eyes (v37) (2008), and the lower arms, lower legs, and feet of Air-Viper (v2) (2009).
