Filecard Information

Primary Weapon: MR-SCI
Combat Gear: Helmet, Assault Rifle, Tactical Knife, Pistol, Silencer, Rocket-Propelled Grenade Launcher, Barbed Wire

One of the nameless, faceless legions of the Cobra organization. Each Cobra Trooper is highly skilled in the use of explosives, infantry weapons, sabotage and the martial arts. They swear absolute loyalty to their leader, Cobra Commander. Their goal is to conquer the world for their own evil purposes.

Early shipments of Cobra Trooper in the 30th Anniversary line retained all of the accessories of the Pursuit of Cobra release. Later shipments removed the second pistol and suppressor, as well as the barbed wire.

When Cobra Trooper was re-released in 2014 for the 50th Anniversary line, several minor changes were made to the figure and its accessories. Cobra Trooper was molded in a lighter blue, the Cobra logo on the torso was slightly larger, the black paint used had a slightly glossier finish, the Cobra logo on the left arm went from red to gold, and the soles of the boots had different details. While the helmet was originally molded in a flesh tone and painted blue, the 50th Anniversary was molded in blue, the Cobra logo on the stand was painted gold, and the barbed wire was molded in a slightly duller gray.

Body Construction

Cobra Trooper (version 15) was created using the head of Cobra Paratrooper (2008), the torso, waist, and arms of Shock Trooper (2011), and the legs of Snake Eyes (v54) (2011).

Versions of Cobra

In 1998, Cobra was renamed "Cobra Trooper," and in 2004, he was renamed "Cobra Infantry Trooper." So while there are several names, they are all based on the "Cobra" trooper.
