HEAVY MACHINE GUNNER
Series: Twenty Three (2007)
Roadblock (version sixteen) was released in G.I. Joe Battle Pack #1, a five pack which also includes Scarlett, Duke, Snake Eyes, and Gung Ho to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. The set also included a G.I. Joe Logo music box.
Roadblock (version sixteen) was later released with the fourth wave of single packs celebrating the 25th Anniversary of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.
Roadblock came with removable webgear, green heavy machine gun, green tripod, ammo belt, a removable helmet, a black backpack, and a black display stand.
The Battle Set box has two different plastic insert versions, resulting in different poses of the figure in box.
Roadblock was later released carded, either emphasizing the 25th Anniversary of G.I. Joe, or the G.I. Joe comic.
Roadblock (version sixteen) was created using all new molds.
Versions of Roadblock
Note that Roadblock (v8) has a file name of "Charles L. Griffith," making that figure a version of "Double Blast" (2001). However, the conventional wisdom is that this was simply an error on Hasbro's part, and that the figure is supposed to be the "Marvin F. Hinton" Roadblock of the other versions.
