Variations
Three variations of Cobra Commander (v25) are known to exist: early versions had a darker hood than the rest of the body, while later versions corrected this. Still later versions had a more defined paint application on the buckles of the left leg.

Cobra Commander (v25) was created using the mold originally used to create Cobra Commander (v24) (2007) with a newly sculpted hooded head.
Versions of Cobra Commander
"The Doctor" represents Cobra Commander before adopting the title in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. "Old Snake" represents a future version of Cobra Commander from Sunbow's The Transformers animated series.
