SIDETRACK (v2)
RANGER

Series: Eighteen (2002)
Sidetrack (version 2) was released as part of the eighteenth series (2002), carded in a two-pack with Shipwreck (v4). Sidetrack was part of the Real American Hero Collection "Wave 5" figures in 2002 that was not released in stores, but was only available in limited quantities to online retailers.
Webmaster's Note:
It was common practice at Hasbro among the toy makers to sculpt action figures to look like real life individuals - including employees of Hasbro.
Sidetrack (version 2) bears a resemblance to and was named after John Boyce, a member of the G.I. Joe design team working for Hasbro at the time of this figure's release. The original version of Side Track bears a different file name.
Accessories
Sidetrack came with a black submachine gun, a black rifle, a black handgun, a black knife, and a black figure stand.
All of Sidetrack's accessories are the same as those that came attached to the plastic "tree" that came with Muskrat (v3) and Mace. These accessories were removed from the tree prior to packaging and the missiles from the tree were not included.
