Filecard Information

Motto: "The GI JOE teams are no match for us, because they'll be freezing in their tracks while we're doing marathons on the ice."

The very earliest carded Neo-Vipers had slight packaging differences. Among them - the text on the back of the card described Cobra as a "terrorist" organization, and the figures were posed to have the heads looking at each other.

Later carded figures had no mention of the word "terrorist," the figure heads looked out and not at each other, and the packaging included the 2002 figure catalog.

These later packagings also included a new color background that no longer had the white "explosions" around the figure. The filecard for Neo-Viper was also changed by adding the text "Characters and events referenced herein are fictional and are not intended to depict actual characters and events."

Body Construction

Neo-Viper has an entirely new body sculpt. The same mold was used to create Neo-Viper (v2) (2002), Neo-Viper (v3) (2002). The arms, torso, waist and legs were used to create Neo-Viper Commander (2002) and Wild Weasel (2002).

Note the changes made from previous versions of 3 3/4" figures - including new waist construction.
