Dusty (v8) was released as part of the eighteenth series (2002), carded in a two-pack with Desert Cobra C.L.A.W.S.
Dusty (v8) was also released in 2003 with a Mission Disc.
Dusty (v8) was also released in 2004 with the K-Mart Exclusive Operation Avalanche box set. The Operation Avalanche set included the Assault Quad (v2), two Air Assault gliders, Snake Eyes (v13), Dusty (v8), Iron Grenadier (v2), and Storm Shadow (v13).
Accessories
Two Pack and Mission Disc
Dusty came with a black bandolier belt, a brown backpack, a black Sound Attack RPG with silver tip, and a black m-16 machine gun.
The two pack packaging also included a color background.
The Mission Disc pack also included Mission Disc 2, featuring two episodes of the cartoon, a game, and a comic. The same disc was also included with the Mission Disc version of Snake Eyes (v14).
Operation Avalanche
The Operation Avalanche set came with five black guns and two black backpacks. No weapons 'belong' to one figure more than any other. The set also came with a bandolier that does belong to Dusty.

Body Construction
Dusty (v8) has an entirely new body sculpt. The same mold was used to create Dusty (v7) (2002) and Dusty (v9)) (2002).
Note the return of the O-ring design absent from earlier new figures from 2002.
Versions of Dusty
Note that version Thirteen came out after version Fourteen. Version Thirteen was intended to be released prior to version Fourteen, and was indeed available in Canada in the proper order. For reasons not officially known, the release of version Thirteen was delayed in the United States until the following year. We have opted to retain the originally-intended release numbers.
