Body Construction

Cobra Commander (version 9) was created from the same mold as Talking Battle Commander Cobra Commander (v5) (1992). The head, front-torso, arms, waist, and legs were also used to create Cobra Commander (v6) (1993). The waistpiece was also shared with Rip It (2000).

Versions of Cobra Commander

"The Doctor" represents Cobra Commander before adopting the title in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. "Old Snake" represents a future version of Cobra Commander from Sunbow's The Transformers animated series.
