The Barracuda was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1992. It was discontinued in 1993.
The mold was re-used in 2000 to create the Man-O-War.

The missiles are often missing and the antenna can be broken or bent easily.
Variants:
Some versions of the Barracuda had a blue top half and black bottom half - while others had a black top half and a blue bottom half.
