The Cobra H.I.S.S. II was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1989. It included the driver, Track-Viper. The H.I.S.S. II was also available in 1990 and discontinued in 1991.
The H.I.S.S. II was also available in 1989 in a Benny's exclusive Mudfighter/H.I.S.S. II two-pack.
In 2003, the H.I.S.S.II. was released as a
Convention Exclusive.

The missiles and seat clips for the Hiss II are commonly lost or missing.
Variations:
No known variations of the HISS II are known to exist.
