The Arctic Blast was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1989. It included the driver, Windchill. The Arctic Blast was also available in 1989 and discontinued in 1990.
Note: The seat belt is a common part shared with many other vehicles and is interchangeable among any of them.
Driver/Pilot: WINDCHILL (v1)
Windchill was first released as part of the eighth series (1989), packaged exclusively with the Arctic Blast tundra assault sled. He was also sold in 1990, then was discontinued domestically in 1991.

The gatling guns, seat belt, and missiles are easily missing from the Arctic Blast.

The Arctic Blast was featured in several of the various media of GI Joe through the years, including Trading Cards, Comic Books, Cartoons and Commercials.
