Phantom X-19 Stealth Fighter

Description:

The Phantom X-19 Stealth Fighter was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1988. It included the pilot, Ghostrider. The Phantom X-19 was also available in 1989 and was discontinued in 1990.

Versions of the Phantom:

This was the only version of the Phantom ever released.


Driver/Pilot: Ghostrider

Ghostrider was released as part of the seventh series (1988), packaged exclusively with the Phantom X-19 Stealth Fighter. He was also sold in 1989, then was discontinued domestically in 1990.

Easily Broken/Lost Pieces:

The misslies, machine guns, tailfins, and engine covers are easily lost/commonly missing.


Variations:

There are two versions of the Phantom X-19's body. One version has a straight pull-out tab - plus the date stamp is on the body just behind the rear landing gear. The other version pulls out at a 45 degree angle and has metal pins that attach to the pull-out tab - plus the trademark stamp is on the very end of the plane.

In Europe, some versions of the Phantom X-19 included an Ace figure.
