The Cobra Imp was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1988. It was also available in 1989 and discontinued in 1990.

Easily Broken/Lost Pieces
The ratcheting tabs to elevate the missile rack can often be found broken. The machine gun and missiles for the Imp are easily lost/ commonly missing.

The Cobra Imp was featured in several of the various media of GI Joe through the years, including Trading Cards, Comic Books, Cartoons and Commercials.
