The Desert Fox 6WD was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1988. It included a driver, Skidmark. The Desert Fox was also available in 1989 and discontinued in 1990.

Skidmark was released as part of the seventh series (1988), packaged exclusively with the Desert Fox 6WD jeep. He was also sold in 1989, then was discontinued domestically in 1990.
