The Adder was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1988. It was also available in 1989 and discontinued in 1990.

Easily Broken/Lost Pieces:

The missiles for the Adder are easily lost/ commonly missing. Additionally, the tabs on the missiles can break easily.

No known variations of the Adder are known to exist.


Vehicle Construction:

The vehicle mold was repainted or retooled for the following vehicles:

This was the only usage of the Adder mold.


International Releases:

In Brazil, Estrela Toys released the Adder as part of the Força Fera line and renamed it the Feramíssil.

The Adder was also released in Argentina by the Plastirama Toy Company.
