The Silver Mirage Motorcycle was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1985. It was also sold in 1986 and was discontinued in 1987.
Easily Broken/Lost Pieces
The handlebars, kickstand, two small missiles and the two grenades that are included with the Silver Mirage Motorcycle are easily misplaced. The windshields and headlights are also easy to lose. Additionally, the posts that hold the sidecar to the motorcycle are prone to breakage.
There is a minor variation of the Silver Mirage sidecar. Some versions of the sidecar's flat post have a ridge while others do not.
In Argentina, Palstirama released this vehicle as theMotocicleta Silver Mirage.
Funskool released the Silver Mirage Motorcycle in India in the late 1980s.
Also in India, Funskool recolored the Silver Mirage Motorcycle blue and released it as part the Rescue Squad.
