The VAMP Mark II [Attack Vehicle] was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1984. It included the driver, Clutch (v2). The VAMP Mark II was also sold in 1985 and was discontinued in 1986.
It was also available via mail order in 1989 (without the driver).

Clutch, also known as Tan Clutch, was released in the third series (1984), packaged exclusively with the VAMP Mark II. This version of Clutch was discontinued domestically in 1985.
At some point Clutch was also available through Hasbro Direct.

The Vamp Mark II is prone to missing the detachable water cannisters and the steering wheel.

The mail-in version of the Vamp Mark II was different than the original store version. The mail-in version was made of a lighter brown plastic, it included gas cans instead of water cans, had a different roof, and had other small color differences. This mail-in version was also Made in Brazil.
