The Rattler was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1984, along with the pilot Wild Weasel. The toy was also sold in 1985 and was discontinued in 1986.
Driver/Pilot: WILD WEASEL (v1)
Wild Weasel (v1) was released as part of the third series (1984), and came packaged exclusively with the Cobra Rattler. They were also sold in 1985. In 1986, Wild Weasel was discontinued.

Easily Broken/Lost Pieces
The rear landing gear is EXTREMELY fragile. Handle with care!
Also, the turret hinges are susceptible to breaking.
Featured In
The Cobra Rattler [Ground Attack Jet] was featured in several of the various media of GI Joe through the years, including Trading Cards, Comic Books, Cartoons and Commercials.
