The Rattler was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1984, along with the pilot Wild Weasel. The toy was also sold in 1985 and was discontinued in 1986.

Also, the turret hinges are susceptible to breaking.
No variations of Cobra Rattler are known to exist.
The Rattler was released in Argentina in the 1980's.
