Description:

The Wolverine [Armored Missile Vehicle] was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1983. It included the driver, Cover Girl. It was also sold in 1984 and was discontinued in 1985.

The Wolverine was also available mail-order from Hasbro Direct in 1986 through 1987.

Versions of the Wolverine:

This was the only version of the Wolverine ever released.


Driver/Pilot: Cover Girl

Cover Girl was released as part of the second series (1983), packaged exclusively with the Wolverine Missile Tank .

Cover Girl and the Wolverine Missile Tank were also sold in 1984. Cover Girl was discontinued in 1985.

Take extra care with the gray tow rope that attaches to the Wolverine. It is easily broken and/or lost.

International Releases:

In Europe in the early 1980s, the Wolverine was recolored in black and released as the Action Force Wolverine.

In Brazil in 1986, the Wolverine was sold as the Tanque Lança Foguete.

In Japan in 1986, the Wolverine was sold.
