Description:

The Twin Battle Gun Whirlwind was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1983. It was also sold in 1984 and was discontinued in 1985.

In 1986 through 1987, it was also available as a mail-order offer from Hasbro Direct.

Easily Broken/Lost Pieces:

The machine gun covers are removable and can sometimes be lost. Also, the wheels of the Whirlwind can be locked into a "rolling" position, or lowered in a shooting position - beware of broken wheels.


Variations:

There are no known variations of the Twin Battle Gun Whirlwind.

The vehicle mold was repainted or retooled for the following vehicles:


International Releases:

In Europe in the early 1980s, the Whirlwind was recolored in dark green and black and released as the Z Force Whirlwind.

The Whirlwind was also sold in Argentina in the early 90s.
